 Re: Sad News!!!
I had something similar happen to me as well, but it was the motherboard that crapped out on me. You should look into getting a external hard drive case for your laptop's hard drive. That way if you upgrade to a newer computer you can just transfer the files (via usb) to you newer system. Thats what i had to do, and the cool thing is i gained a second hard drive to store stuff on, plus being external you can take it with you anywhere. Well good that you got a monitor hooked up to keep using it until you get it fixed or new laptop.

Because this laptop is gonna go soon and im going to try to buy a New one and want to know which external hard drive brand is a good one to get so i can transfer all my files.

Well what I did was I just brought a external hard drive case from eBay for like $12 with shipping. I got a Sabrent SATA case, I then took my SATA drive out of my laptop that died, hooked it up (its really like plug and play eazy). Took me longer to look for the little ass screws for the metal case that fell on the floor then putting the drive in the case and hooking it up to the new laptop. YouTube it, look for "sata external hard drive cases". That's my best advice man!! Good luck!!
